Who Invented Holograms?

A hologram is a three dimensional photograph with depth, length and breadth. Holograms are made by using laser lights. The inventor of holograms, Dennis Gabor (1906-1979), was a Hungary born British physicist. He developed the theory behind holography during the 1940s. But, actual holography became possible only after the development of laser in 1960s, as laser allowed high quality holograms. received the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1971
