Who Invented Holograms?
A hologram
is a three dimensional photograph with depth, length and
breadth.
Holograms are made by using laser lights. The
inventor of holograms, Dennis
Gabor (1906-1979),
was a Hungary born
British physicist. He developed
the theory behind
holography during
the 1940s. But, actual
holography became
possible only after the
development of
laser in 1960s, as laser allowed
high quality
holograms.
received the
Nobel Prize for Physics in 1971.
