How does a Mirror Work?
A mirror
is a glass with a coating at its back. When we look into a mirror, light rays from us go and
strike it. The
rays pass
through the glass and are reflected from the coating. The light
is reflected back by a flat mirror at the same angle as it strikes the mirror.
This makes
an image seen in a flat mirror appear to be the same size and shape as the object. But a
mirror image is
always reversed.
