Black Panther

Africa and Asia, black panthers are black-coated leopards, and in North, Central, and South America, they're dark-coated jaguars. In other words, “black panther” is an umbrella term used to refer to any leopard or jaguar with an unusually dark coat.

Black panthers are not specific species, but refer to the blackened individuals of several panthers. Cats, especially large species, usually find some black individuals with different colors from the original ones. Leopards with normal coat color can produce the same litter cubs with black coat and normal coat color. Descendants who give birth to normal coat colors have less impact on survival than albinism, so melanism is more common than albinism, and species living in rain forests or bushes may even be more conducive to survival due to melanism. Under the bright light, the blackened leopard can find that the body hair is not pure black, but dark brown with different shades, and it can still recognize the unique markings of various leopards.

Where did Cricket Originate?

Cricket is an old English game. It used to be played with curved bats and no wickets in 1300s. But by early 19th century, the game was played quite like the way it is played now. There are two ends of the wicket. Distance between the wickets is 22 yards (20 metres). Each end has a set of three wickets , each wicket's height is 28 inches and they are placed at the width of nine inches. Cricket originated in India during British rule. The ball weighs between 51/2 to 53/4 ounces and the bat is about 41/4 inches wide. English settlers spread the game wherever they colonized and it is now an international game. The cricket 'World Cup' is played after every four years.

Computer graphics are pictures produced by computer. They may appear on screen or be printed on paper. Almost all the computer games and now business , scientific and engineering programs use graphics. The graphics with their colour and drawings prove to be more informative than when explained in words. Who Made the First Telescope?

Galileo Galilei (1564-1642) lived in Italy and is remembered as the first person to turn a telescope to the sky and make important astronomical observations. He built the first telescope in 1609 and then went on to make many. He observed that Moon was not smooth and perfect as it looks, but it was covered with mountains and craters. He also discovered that a pendulum could be used to measure time. He found this by watching a hanging lamp swinging in Pisa Cathedral. He realized that it took exactly the same time for each swing , whether the swings were large or small . He also observed bright satellites of Jupiter , sunspots and other things. The four largest moons of Jupiter are now known as the Galilean satellites. He made himself unpopular because he lived in a time when people believed that the Earth did not move and the Sun and Moon revolved around it. People believed what was written in the Bible. He was imprisoned and ended his life in a house arrest.
