What is the Big Bang Theory?

The Big Bang theory explains the origin of the Universe. Scientists believe that the Universe was created about 15,000 million years ago in an explosion called the Big Bang. Matter was formed in the tremendous heat that followed and galaxies were created. It is believed that the Universe may expand for ever, or it may eventually stop expanding and then collapse inwards. It is predicted that before this, in about 5000 million years, the Sun will expand and burn the Earth.

  The Strait of Hormuz is a narrow waterway between Iran and Oman that connects the Persian Gulf with the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea. At its narrowest point, it is about 21 nautical miles (39 kilometers) wide, with designated shipping channels for vessels entering and leaving the Persian Gulf. Its location makes it one of the world's most important maritime chokepoints. Its importance comes mainly from the amount of energy that moves through it. The International Energy Agency says an average of about 20 million barrels of crude oil and oil products passed through the strait each day in 2025, representing roughly one-quarter of global seaborne oil trade. The U.S. Energy Information Administration also estimates that about one-fifth of global liquefied natural gas trade passed through Hormuz in 2024, much of it from Qatar. R ailway signals control the movement of trains. They help to keep the trains away from each other to avoid collisions and also keep them running efficiently and on time. The block is the basis of a signalling system. It is a stretch of line in one direction. No more than one train can be in a block at a time . A stop signal controls entry into the block.
