What is an Output Device?

The computer has a screen or monitor that shows what we are doing on it. To get a permanent record of things done on a computer, for instance, accounts, written material, etc, an output device printer is used. From this the permanent record known as printout is obtained. Modem (Modulator demodulator) is another output device much in

use. It transfers computer output, through a telephone line, to another computer through the internet system or e-mail.
