What is an Input Device?

To feed a data into computer, some input device is required. Keyboard is the most common input device with all the letters and numbers of a typewriter. Commands can be given to the computer by typing them in with the help of keyboard. To play games in computer joystick, an input device, is used. A mouse is provided with computers to work easily. When moved, this mouse which has a ball underneath it, makes the cursor move in the computer. Some computers have special music keyboards to store music or sound.

F latworms are flat, simple-bodied worm like animals ranging from the size Of a few millimetres to larger tropical forms. These worms are largely found in temperate and tropical regions of the world. They live under the stones and leaves , in freshwater streams and ponds. A few of them also live on land. T o survive in the cold during winters, the deciduous trees shed their leaves. They live leafless for many months, thereby conserving water and avoiding frost damage. As the temperature begins to fall at the onset of autumn , the soil gets too cold for most broad based leaves to take up enough water. To avoid further loss of water by transpiration, the trees begin to shed their leaves . The trees begin to withdraw the chlorophyll before the leaves are shed, imparting various brilliant colours to them depending upon the pigment left behind . Some evergreen trees like pine never lose their leaves even though they inhabit colder regions. They have thin, needle like leaves that have low transpiration rate and, hence very low water loss .
